Map of Glenormiston on Tamim, Suzanne (V) Known for her striking green eyes and luxuriant mane of flowing brown hair, Tamim rose to fame in 1996 after winning the television talent show Studio al-Fann, the Lebanese equivalent of the wildly popular American Idol. Soon afterwards, the beautiful singer became fodder for the international gossip raps after divorcing her husband Ali Musannar then marrying Lebanese impresario Adel Maatouk who became her producer. The couple quickly divorced and Tamim fled her home in Beirut for Egypt reportedly to escape a series of lawsuits filed by the disgruntled Maatouk. In 2004, he accused his ex-wife of backing an attempt on his life. Professionally, Tamim’s career was winding down after a fast start fueled by her 1996 television show win. Backed by Rotana, the Arab world’s largest entertainment group, the sultry singer released her last album in 2002, and her final song, Lovers, in 2006 was dedicated to the memory of assassinated Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. It was the beauty’s personal life, however, that held the most interest for the Arab public. Map of Glenormiston 2016.
