At present, there is a vaccine against pneumonitis but there are none against any of the other cat respiratory diseases. Further, one attack of pneumonitis does not make the cat
immune indefinitely. Therefore, it is best to have your cat vaccinated against pneumonitis every six months. You can hope, with this method, for some immunity against some of the other respiratory viruses besides pneumonitis.
