Most feel the quality is higher in Amsterdam. Remember, the Netherlands borders Germany… make sure you read about our vacation chapter review of Frankfurt, Germany. It’s a world-class experience at the FKK Atlantis and Oases clubs, without any of the seediness feel of Amsterdam. Worth a visit. Good sites for more info:

Golf Courses :
The exclusive reputation golf used to have in Holland is fading. These days, courses are crowded with players, especially weekends. A safety certification is required for professional courses, but public courses are open to everyone, with many courses also offering driving ranges. You can play at a private club if introduced by a member, or if you belong to a British club; otherwise, go for the public courses open to everyone. See the Amsterdam Yellow Pages, or contact the Amsterdam Golf Club (497 7866).
