We recently paid a short camping visit to the Magoebaskloof area, after having booked at the Magoebaskloof Getaway. The visit was one we certainly plan to repeat, and not just for the stunning scenery. Ian, Anchen and Beth went out of their way to make us comfortable and ensure that we enjoyed our stay.
Our campsite was way down in the valley, and as it had rained the previous day, the road was very wet. We were towing a trailer and when we got to the bottom we got stuck in a very muddy patch.

The staff immediately came to our assistance, and within a short while we were parked in a campsite that was everything we could wish for: a fully grassed site surrounded by beautiful green mountains, with a view across a millpond- still dam; clean ablutions, and a nicely equipped little kitchen fridge/freezer, 2-ring hot plate, wash-up area, and plenty of really hot water.
Ian jumped into action, and by the next day had taken steps to mend the road. Whilst the road repairs were underway, he arranged a car for us for the day so that we could explore the countryside, and, true to his word, the following day we sailed up that road in our motorhome with no trouble at all. That is truly extra-special care. Thank you, Magoebaskloof Getaway; we will be back!
