Japan Pavilion Map

The centuries-old county of Japan brings a sense of peace to our modern-day world. The Japan Pavilion is one of the more serene places in Epcot’s World Showcase. The pavilion opened in 1982 with plans for a theater experience and a train ride. These plans never came to fruition in the Japan Pavilion; however, the creative ideas were not wasted and now enhance Tokyo Disney Resort as well as Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The vast building that was to house the train ride is visible on Google Earth, but it remains empty.
